Meet the Owners

Steve Kloetsch: Recently named "Best of Seattle" for 2007 & 2008*

RSVP began as RSVP Construction, founded years ago by my father Quentin Kloetsch in Spokane, Washington. RSVP Construction was, and still is, a premier custom house builder in Eastern Washington. Today, my brother Larry Kloetsch is the CEO, and continues the rich tradition begun by my father of providing a high-quality product at a very reasonable price. I have been "brought up" in an environment where real estate and homes have always played a major role in my life.

For over 28 years, I have been practicing the profession of "Sales and Marketing." For a number of years, I was employed at US West (now Qwest) and later at GE Capital. I began my career at US West climbing poles, and ended it as Vice President of Sales and Service. While a corporate career can be rewarding, I always knew I would gravitate back to my "roots." I have been a licensed agent and then a broker since 1999, and today continue the tradition started by my father, by being in business with my son Andy. I have a family with 3 children (in order by age Eric, Andy, and Kadey). We have one other family member affectionately known as the “horse.” The horse is actually a 150-pound Bull mastiff dog named Harley. Harley sleeps 23 hours a day and spends the remaining hour eating.

My father was a craftsman. He believed that any job worth doing was worth doing right, and that it should be done at a fair price. It wasn't a very complex business philosophy, but one that served him well his entire life. RSVP Real Estate was founded on this same principle. I learned a number of things in the corporate world, but I have never forgotten the lesson from my father: provide great service and value to your clients. That is what RSVP Real Estate is all about.

Andy Kloetsch: Recently named "Best of Seattle" for 2007 & 2008*

I love it here. Seattle and the surrounding cities are my home, and I just can not see living anywhere else. I’ve lived all over Seattle and the Eastside during my 25-plus years here, and have a good knowledge of our communities.

I grew up in Redmond, graduating from Redmond High and moving on to receive my BA from Washington State University in Communications. After school, I spent time as a news and traffic reporter. I soon realized I would have to leave the area to pursue better career opportunities. As I stated in my lead sentence though, I love it here.

Now I use my communication theory and techniques to negotiate deals for my clients in real estate ... which was suggested to me by my dad and now business partner Steve Kloetsch. Together, we have started RSVP Real Estate, which is a family-owned and operated brokerage. Even the name RSVP comes from a family business, RSVP Construction, founded by my grandfather Quentin Kloetsch, and now run by my uncle Larry Kloetsch. The core value of RSVP was to provide high quality products and service, and treat your customer fairly. Those values and beliefs that we hold dearly were used to build the foundation for RSVP Real Estate.

As President of RSVP Construction, Inc, my company has earned a trusted and well-respected reputation for high-quality homes in the Spokane area for more than 30 years with a company heritage dating back nearly 45 years. Originally founded by my father and mentor, Quentin Kloetsch, he taught me the skills to be not only a Master Carpenter but a successful businessman as well. Because of the values he instilled in me, RSVP Construction has thrived in Spokane building hundreds of homes for local families.

Now, as a natural extension of providing homes in my community, I have expanded my professional portfolio as a consultant to RSVP Real Estate. As a resident of Spokane for 38 years, my family and I thoroughly enjoy all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Married for 26 years to my wonderful wife Caroline, we are blessed with our two incredible children, Layne and Carissa, and a “Goldendoodle” named Zoey. Our family interests include motorcycling, snowmobiling, skiing, and fun in the sun at one of our nearby lakes.

I am the central hub of communication from the point of sale through the close of escrow, and will closely follow your transaction to ensure a smooth and successful closing. I’am your personal assistant. I have been involved in the real estate industry for over 22 years, and have been exclusively a Transaction Coordinator for eight years. I currently have an active real estate license in the state of Washington, and have been licensed in the state of California.
