Unlike many other local markets that have a strong emphasis on arts and crafts, the Proctor Farmers Market focuses mainly on fresh, local food.

The Puyallup Farmers Market opens for the season on April 21st. At the Puyallup Market, you will discover all of your favorite farmers bringing their best hanging baskets, veggie and fruit starts, flowers and more – all grown right here in Washington.

The Tacoma farmers markets have been serving Washington for nearly 30 years. Their mission is to preserve the Pierce County farmlands and help local farms to grow and thrive. They feature multiple locations including Broadway, Point Ruston, Eastside and South Tacoma.
These markets are open-air, European style marketplaces showcasing locally produced foodstuffs and artisan items with local performers setting the live entertainment ambiance. As community gathering places, they offer education about living a healthy life through various means associated with fresh, slow foods.
